Posted by TicKle on Oct 9th, 22:33 | Post comment (5)

We are proud to announce that our very own CS:S team have made the ESL Pro Series season 5.
The team has been training hard to achieve this and we are impressed with there performances to date, this ahead of any LAN's ahead can only be good!
We at infinitus wish the team the best of luck in all there upcoming games, and the best of luck when they attend The Reality in a few weeks time.

Statement from Midna

The first match was played against a good belgium team called myRevenge. In the first round it became clear that myRevenge were well prepared for this match, because they knew our tactics. myRevenge had seen our demos so they knew exactly what we were doing. We lost this match by 26:32.

In the lower-bracket we played versus Plausible5, we knew them already from previous EPS and we already knew that it was not so difficult to play them. We won 32:17. The next opponent was Synge. Synge are already known to train a lot and want to win every match. It was also a difficult match for us, we did not start really well on the map but we rebounded well and won two maps, with an end score of 32:27.

The lower-bracket final was versus myRevenge. Yes myRevenge again so we knew it would be hard playing against them, when we started the match we took nine rounds in a row. We won the first map(de_dust2) with 16-11 in our favour. The second map was de_nuke their home map. We started on CT-side, we expected more tactics from myRevenge. We ended CT-side with 13-2. On T-side we managed to take a few rounds in early game, we finished the game with a score of 32:18.

Infinitus announce new CS:S team

Posted by TicKle on Sep 29th, 21:16 | Post comment (5)

We are proud to announce the addition of our new Counter Strike Source team. The team are already established and have many LAN attendances behind them with some very impressive standings.
They will be attending many LANS in the future and we hope with our support this team will go places!

The line-up:

Jeffrey 'midna' Tap
Sven 'ExisteNce92' Vreugdenhil
Victor 'Imprez' Walsteijn
André 'neato' Bakker
Jeroen 'razzeh' de Jong

Statement from Infinitus management:

We are very exited about this team, they have shown massive potential in recent months and are a team that have already proved they are a force to be dealt with on LAN. We hope that with our support, this team can go all the way and establish themselves as a top tier team.

Statement from Imprez:

“Three years ago we started the Team Freshconnections with Midna,Existence and Imprez. So the core of the team is together since three years. Neato and Razzeh joined 8 months ago and it’s going very good. We have some good lan/online results and we’re still motivated to play with each other. Before we joined the organisation Infinitus-esports we were playing for the organisation Gamelimited. Due some problems with the management we left the organisation and were we looking for a new one. We had spoken with a few organisation but they all didn’t suit our demands. Till Midna gets in contact with Infinitus-esports and we were all very enthusiastic about Infinitus. We are really looking forward to play for Infinitus-esports. Our plan for the next offline lan was “The Reality” but Existence and I have college test and college is very important for us so probably the rest of the team is going with two mixers and I wish them good luck. Maybe we can go to I41 but we need to see how we get there, should be awesome.
