This weekend the first ever Blackops event is due to start on the coming Sunday morning.
Our very own Xbox team are attending the event looking to pickup a hefty placing for their first ever event. The team has been seeded 6th out of the 16 teams but aim to cause an upset which themselves and many have predicted.
With myself not being able to attend due to exams, the current roster stands at;

Josh previously attended the ECL event under a pickup team but boasts a large amount of top experience with organisations such as UV-Gaming and his current org NextCentury-eSports.

The event will also be streamed and shoutcasted by decerto's own guest commentator Michael 'Emotion' Kent, who has endless amounts of knowledge within the call of duty scene.

Lets not forget our very own William 'Willz' Allen is attending the event with his own team, deMand. Being the only team from the PS3 scene, they have alot on thier shoulders to make sure they prove to the Xbox community that the PS3 scene isn't such a pushover that it is renowned to be.
I will be also adding updates to this announcement for deMand to keep you well intune with the event.

The MyLiga SteelSeries challenge has come to an end, MyLiga.com held host to a special tournament sponsored by SteelSeries which attracted a vast amount of top European teams to play for over €1000 worth of prizes.

The prizes stand at;
1st - €400 + 4 x SteelSeries Spectrum 5xb
2nd - €200 + 4 x Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 DACH Edition
3rd - €100 + 4 x SteelSeries QcK+ Mousepad

Of all the teams entered, not many thought the German side, dzs.beyerdynamic, would come out on top, they successfully managed to defeat our very own infinitus.QPAD in the semi finals and then stagger through to beat the newly announced TCM Gaming in the grand finals. This tournament has been a great opportunity for new teams to break through and gather some unexpected wins.

The Final took place tonight and ended with a 3-1 victory to the German side which saw them to a €400 prize pot and 4 SteelSeries 5XB's!, Congratulations dzs!

Decerto spoke to Max about winning the tournament;

"We have just played for 1 week together now so we didn't expect too much of this tourney. But then we beat ENECATE and Infidel, so #1 was our aim. We knew that QPAD and TCM already had beaten some top teams in the last few days so we expected two very hard matches. After we have won against QPAD we were very motivated going into the final and at the moment where miniQ made ths nice clutch on Havana we realised that we won and we were very happy. Thanks for the money and 4 brand new Steelseries."
