With less than a week to go the young British LAN is pulling out all the stops confirming new tournament sponsors alongside a renewed coverage partnership with QUADV.
After the success of the previous tournament back in February 2012 QUADV have decided to make a return once more to bring premier eSport's coverage to the Call of Duty Promod scene. Spearheading the coverage will be none other than Call of Duty's very own Dennis mennace Fick, with Leigh Deman Smith and Lauren Pansy Scott also taking part over the weekend. During the last event the coverage providers, despite severe streaming bandwidth issues, provided some of the most professional content within the game's long history.
Alongside this great news Tt eSports and Thermaltake have once again stepped forward to support the CoD scene providing a range of hardware for the top podium finishing teams to complement the cash prize pool. The company have been a strong partner within the CoD scene for some time now providing top quality eSport peripheral devices in a range of tournaments and competitions since their initial release.
Epic.NINE is shaping up to be a brilliant event for the CoD4 scene seeing not just local talent but teams from across Europe in attendance to compete for the possible £2,500 prize pot. Currently sitting at a respectable twenty teams just four slots remain, with a few final mix teams expected to complete over the course of the final few days.
TEK9 will be in attendance to cover the event seeing the return of experienced eSports journalist Matt "wargasm" Hazell so stay tuned this up-coming weekend for the latest news live from the Uttoxeter Racecourse, England.
