The Crossfire Intel Challenge has reached its first deadline after 10 teams have signed up and paid before the first of January. This means that the event will go ahead with a minimum prize purse of €3,000. The list of teams can be found below and what is especially notable about the list is the dominance of the UK teams and the lack of the top 10 teams in Europe as only Power Gaming and Next.i3D appear from Cadred's "Predicted" top 10 list. Some big names that could be expected at such an event are thus still missing but with signups not closing yet there is still time for them to enter.
